Creativity, Caps and a Cherry Picker!!

We have been super busy! Our founder Rhian Kempadoo-Millar has designed and painted this huge 'Carnival Reflections' Mural in Leeds over the summer celebrating the Leeds West Indian Carnival in Chapeltown alongside a talented team of artists..some even wearing KM Caps.

The mural was commissioned by East Street Arts, Leeds West Indian Carnival and Leeds City Council and Rhian was chosen as the lead artist on the project. It took 2.5 weeks to complete this huge wall with a cherry picker . Thank you to everyone who helped out, volunteered, brought cups of tea and cake.

It is on Laycock Place outside the Leeds West Indian Centre. Pop down if you are local to take a look.
